A studio that thinks like a label — loyalty to talent and to partners, creative control from end to end, and stories that resemble nothing else.
→ Discover our methodologyFounded in 2026 by Nancy Bressolles (Producer & Line Producer, trained on international blockbusters) and Brice Ceccaldi (Showrunner & Narrative Architect), The French Narrative Studio develops and packages series and films for the international market — from offbeat romantic comedy to intense crime drama, built for the major platforms.
We develop our stories in house and bring our partners, platforms and production companies packages at every stage of maturity: from concept, through partially financed projects, to fully cast ones.
Our strategy is not one of opportunism: it is one of effort and of the long term. We are not after a moment of brilliance, we build over time.
Line Producer
Production Management
Nancy Bressolles is a French-British producer, Producer & Line Producer. She built her experience between France and the United Kingdom on international productions — films, series, music videos and digital campaigns.
She has worked on productions tied to Netflix, Apple TV+, Paramount+, AMC and Starz, as well as on projects for Warner Music, Island Records, Nissan, BMW, HP and IKEA.
At French Narrative, she sets the conditions that make a project feasible: scale, requirements, possible partners and production path. Her approach combines operational rigour, agility on the ground and an international outlook, with hands-on knowledge of French, British and American production methods. Alongside Brice's narrative work, she makes sure every project has a solid framework, a legible ambition and the potential to travel beyond its home market.
Brice Ceccaldi is a writer, showrunner and script doctor. A serial entrepreneur, he conceives projects and then drives their development by working on their deep structure: a strong story that has to hold desire, conflict, emotion and international architecture together.
At French Narrative, he stitches together narratives that turn on the cultural resonance of France.
His approach combines disruptive instinct with rigorous construction and an understanding of what the markets and international financing expect. Alongside Nancy's production expertise and international outlook, he makes sure every story has a clear engine, a strong identity and a disruptive path, bringing freshness and a world of its own.
We come to the platforms with what they are looking for: not an isolated project, but a vision — a talent, a world, a trajectory.
→ Back to homepageOur model is that of a label with a line, a signature. We choose actors and directors, we commit to each of them over time, and we build together — not one project, but a triptych of projects that deepen as they go.
Three projects around one talent, each more ambitious than the last: a first that establishes, a second that confirms, a third, or even a fourth, that crowns. It is the logic the great music labels have always applied to their artists: not a single, a career.
We do not make other people's projects possible. We create our own — for a talent, around a talent, with them over time. A repertoire, not a catalogue.
In romantic comedy the approach is especially apt, because the genre rests above all on the charisma of an actor: audiences become loyal to a person, not to a concept. We come to the platforms with what they are looking for: not an isolated project, but a vision — a talent, a world, a trajectory.
Our strategy is not one of opportunism: it is one of effort and of the long term. We are not after a moment of brilliance, we build over time. That is the ambition we carry, at our scale, convinced that there is room for a studio that thinks like a label — loyalty to talent and to partners, creative control from end to end, and stories that resemble nothing else.
